Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the accessibility of the Santa María Laura School website in accordance with WCAG standards, seeking to ensure that the content is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. The methodology included the use of TAW and Google Search Console tools to identify accessibility issues and warnings. A total of 347 issues and 164 warnings were detected, highlighting areas requiring significant improvement. The results indicate that the site does not meet WCAG standards, underscoring the need to optimize accessibility to improve the user experience for students with disabilities and the community at large. The findings suggest that implementing improvements will not only benefit people with disabilities, but will also establish a model for the development of inclusive educational websites. Further research is recommended to evaluate specific interventions and monitor the impact of these accessibility improvements over time.
